Electrical Work - Temporary Connections


The Electrical Work - Temporary Connections Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with the temporary energising or re-energising of electrical installations (or part of) for testing and/or fault-finding purposes including risk of electric shock and inadvertent operation or activation of plant and equipment, etc.

The SWMS provides details of the safety precautions (including clothing and PPE) required for temporary connection of installations to the power supply source.
