The Asbestos & ACM (Non-friable) - Disturbance Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with the removal of non-friable asbestos-containing materials (ACM) that may be encountered during work in buildings constructed prior to 31st December 2003.
The SWMS provides details of the type of work involving the removal of ACM that can be carried out in each state or territory by unlicensed persons, and details of the training required and safety precautions to be followed by persons who will be engaged in work involving the disturbance of non-friable ACM.
