The Concrete Drilling and Coring Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks from the use of plant and hazardous manual tasks associated with the drilling and coring of concrete floors, walls, etc. using mobile concrete drilling equipment portable drills.

The SWMS provides details of the inspections to be carried out before each type of drill is used and the safety precautions (including personal protective equipment requirements) to be observed when using concrete drilling and coring plant and equipment.
