Description
The Hazardous Manual Tasks Safe Work Procedure (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with the use of body force to carry out work, including the use of repetitive, sudden, high or sustained force, repetitive movement, sustained and or awkward postures, and exposure to vibration.
The SWMS provided details of the health and safety precautions to be followed to identify, analyse and assess manual tasks, and the control measures to be implemented to eliminate or minimise the risk of injury caused by hazardous manual tasks.
