PE Pipe and Fittings

The PE Pipe and Fittings Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with the storage, transport, handling and laying of polyethylene (PE) pipe and the use of pipe connectors, including hazardous manual tasks, risk of falls, and risks from falling objects. The SWMS does not cover welding of PE pipe joints.

The SWMS provides details of the health and safety precautions (including personal protection) to be observed in the storage, transport, handling and laying of PE pipe systems.
