The Site Establishment Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with work carried out when establishing a site for construction work including the risks to public safety and the environment, provision of amenities and utilities, use of plant and vehicles, and hazardous manual tasks.
The SWMS provides details of the health and safety precautions (including personal protective equipment requirements) to be observed when carrying out work associated with preparation of sites for construction work.
