The Tip Truck (Side Tipping) Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) outlines the main hazards and risks associated with the operation of side tipping trucks (including trailers) including risks associated with traffic and mobile plant, overhead electrical wiring, risks of collision or rollover, falls, moving parts and entrapment, hazardous manual tasks and exposure to environmental hazards associated with outdoor work.
The SWMS provides details of the precautions (including personal protection) to be observed when operating and maintaining side tipping trucks and trailers.
